Sequence control products Process Interlocking

Valve interlocks are frequently used to secure linear valve operating sequences (open valve A, B and C and close in reversed order: C, B, A). Sometimes however, it is required to deviate from this linear procedure and repeat steps or return to previous steps, not in reversed order. Therefore, additional products are available to guarantee the required operating sequence
(non-linear sequence).

  • The Mechanical process Control Unit (MPCU) is a mechanically-programmed key exchange systemand functions as a ‘mechanical PLC’. It is installed in the field to guide operators through complex, non-linear procedures
  • The Key Exchange unit (KE) allows exchanging differing numbers of keys at one time: for example 1 key (e.g. key A) for 4 keys (e.g. key B,C,D and E).
